Bern and cheese

Day 21

Stayed the night in some small town, didn't make a note of the name. Church bells woke us up dead early though.

Went to some cheese making place near Gruyeres, they had a lot of cheese and cow bells. That's about it. Cows are cool.

We drove around the countryside to see some more mountains and then headed for Bern.

Bern has a park/zoo full of bears. That sounds pretty cool but they spend most of their time sleeping so it's really not. We had to come back later to see them actually moving. The rest of the town was pretty nice. Lots of clock towers, and a river running through it, like most Swiss cities we visited.

After that we left Switzerland forever and went to do some more hypermarket shopping in France. The place was closing slowly so everyone was in a frenzy to get supplies for the weekend. People were still trying to get food half an hour after the place had closed, pulling up the covers on the stands and everything.
